Catch the light

Under a mild autumn breeze

Shimmer; it shines

Pockets of time

When one is fallen

When one grows around

Through greying arms - windows

You glimpse a sunburst

One summer’s moment

A sheltering ray

On winter’s morning

Shield and glare

I stare

I move

I catch the light

Sidestepping shifting shadows

Chasing it unto dusk

Before a new day behold

The kindling kind

The sun through the trees
